Candlelit somatic yoga for women in Kew & Richmond
-
These classes offer a softer, slower, more inner yet deeply effective way to move and unwind your body without force or strain, and receive the benefits of simple breath practices and guided rest.
The classes blend:
fluid, mostly floor-based flowing somatic movement, including rocking, pulsing and rolling
slow yoga poses & long delicious stretches
breath awareness & practices (pranayama)
supported restorative yoga poses and relaxation (all props provided)
Throughout the class, you will be encouraged to tune into how things feel in your body moment to moment, and supported to practice in a way that works for YOUR body, rather than achieving specific ‘shapes’ or prescribed alignment.
-
unwind physical tension and find more ease and fluidity in your body
reduce stress and help regulate/balance your nervous system - a foundation to address many ailments and conditions (from sleep difficulties to hormonal imbalances and digestive issues)
access deeper rest and better sleep
support your pelvic floor and pelvic health in a whole-body, intelligent way (away from Kegels or squeezes)
re-find some headspace, calm and clarity
