“Amelie is a fantastic teacher and I would highly recommend her classes to any expecting mums! I have felt a great sense of community in the group classes and have learnt a lot from other women, and Amelie. No concern you may have is too small, and Amelie is there to explain what is happening in your body and reassure you. “

— Charlotte Davies

“Going to Amelie's classes has been my favourite time of the week, where I can relax, connect with my pregnancy, baby, body and focus (I'm a really nervous person, so this is really important!). I love how this yoga class are for everyone, it's a safe space, with no pressure no matter if it's your first pregnancy or if you haven't done any yoga before.”

FAQs

When can I start yoga during pregnancy?

If you are considered to have a low-risk pregnancy, or haven’t been advised otherwise by a medical professional, you can start either group or one-to-one classes at any stage of your pregnancy.
However, if you are still in your first trimester, I recommend you first book at least one one-to-one session, to find out what feels good and right to you at this early stage, and get the time to understand recommended modifications and contra-indications.

Who are the classes suitable for?

These classes are suitable for all stages of pregnancy, right up until the birth of your baby (even past your due date). They are just as beneficial for experienced yoga practitioners, as for mothers-to-be who have no yoga experience at all. Many women who attend have never been to a yoga class before.
If you are nearing the end of your pregnancy, you can choose to book group classes on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Just get in touch to arrange this.

What is the Early Postnatal Recovery session add-on?

The first few weeks after birth are crucial for your recovery and long-term well-being.

This session, delivered in your home or online, is designed to walk you through very simple yet deeply effective practices to support your postpartum recovery, that you can then replicate in your own time in these early weeks after your baby’s birth.
