Covid Risk Management Measures

In light of the Covid pandemic, the following risk prevention measures are in place - updated Dec 21

Physical Distancing: a minimum distance of 1 metre will be ensured between all mats (from centre of mat to centre of mat) in the teaching space, which will determine how many people can attend each group class. Attendees should remain on their mat as much as possible throughout the class (except to use the toilet facilities or enter/exit the room).

Group classes numbers: At present, based on the size of the teaching spaces used, group classes will be limited to 10 mum & baby pairs or 15 mums-to-be per class depending on the class in order to meet the physical distancing requirements above. These numbers might change should the government’s guidelines change.

Cleaning and protection at venues: The venue where classes run at have their own risk management procedures with regards to cleaning, access routes to teaching spaces, toilets, ventilation, etc, which will be adhered to for all First to Fourth classes. These measures include: enhanced cleaning of the all spaces and toilets, sanitization of all high-touch surfaces between each class, no congregating inside or outside teaching spaces, mask wearing indoors, hand sanitization upon entry, and parking of all buggies outside.

Equipment: Attendees are asked to bring their own equipment to class where possible. Should you wish to purchase a yoga mat or other props at a preferential price, please do get in touch. Blankets, baby massage oil and baby toys will not be available for the time being.

Physical contact: Unfortunately, I am not able to offer any hands-on adjustments, physical assists or able to hold babies for the time being.

By booking onto an in-person class, you agree to abide by the following guidelines:

Sick? Having symptoms? Stay Home: If you or your baby are exhibiting any symptoms such as fever, coughing, sneezing, or congestion, have any chronic respiratory conditions, or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID within the last 14 days, please stay home and rest.

Stay on your mat: Please stay on your mat for the entire duration of your class unless absolutely necessary. Please respect social distancing at all times.

Masks: Masks are currently required in all common areas of the venue. In the teaching space, you may remove your mask once you’re on your mat. Please put your mask back on after the end of class before exiting the teaching room, or to use the toilet.

Hand Sanitization: Please use the hand sanitizer gel (70% alcohol) provided upon entry into the teaching space.

Personal Belongings: Please keep the belongings you bring into class to a minimum, ideally in a single bag, and distanced from other attendees’ belongings in the studio.

Room ventilation: The teaching space will be well ventilated between classes. Please bring an extra layer for you/your baby as necessary in the colder months.

Buggies: A safe, outside buggy parking space directly accessible from the back of the teaching room will be available. I recommend you cover your buggy with a rain cover to limit contact & in case of bad weather.
